Bluetooth LE Accessory Interface Specification

Overview

The Bluetooth LE Accessory Interface Specification defines how a mobile device (such as an iOS or Android phone) communicates with a BlueParrott headset over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). At the core of the interface is a structured GATT (Generic Attribute Profile) service. This GATT design uses a service UUID to group a set of characteristics, each representing a specific function or data channel. Characteristics define what the headset exposes (such as button events, mode changes, logs, sensor values, or model information) and specify whether the application can read, write, or receive notifications from them.
